What started out as a summer job, the year before starting the MBA program at University of Miami, has turned into a life-long love of purchasing and design. Mivasa Worldwide Inc, founded over 40 years ago by my father upon moving to Miami, has been a highly-regarded go to purchasing house to multi-national companies, conglomerates, and titans of industry in the Caribbean. 

Over the years, with only word of mouth referrals, Mivasa grew to a multi-million dollar supply house for several corporations including, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Hyatt, Marriott, B.P., to name a few. After years of steel, heavy equipment, and oil&gas procurement, Mivasa, under the lead of Vanessa Patience, formed another division catering to hotel and restaurant procurement and interior design. Mivasa became a one-stop-shop for each client in each industry.

After 22 years at Mivasa, 9 of those as President, I decided to take this love of design to a new level by forming a subsidiary of Mivasa Worldwide, called Patience Purchasing Agency. While still supplying to current clients and current industries, PPA Miami will also take the design division to a whole new level! By combining my clientele list of Hotels, Restaurants, Designers, Contractors, Architects, Investors, Builders, and Home Owners, PPA Miami combines the buying power into one so that all will benefit from this unique purchasing company with the lowest prices offered in the industry.
